Rudragaya Samskara is the temple's namesake rite — a complete Vedic samskara performed for the departed, drawing on the specific tradition associated with Gokarna Rudragaya.
This is one of the more elaborate rites performed at the temple, combining sankalpa, tarpana and homam according to the tradition specific to Gokarna Rudragaya, guided personally by Guruji.
